Latest Committee Meeting

The Committee met for the first time since the reunion this Saturday. We called an extra meeting to discuss what came out of the ‘What next for the Lampeter Society?’ session on the Sunday morning at the reunion. Discussions focused on the two aims of the Lampeter Society - supporting the campus and bringing alumni together. Attendees had many suggestions for bringing alumni together, including:

  • Support for former Lampeter students now at Carmarthen

  • More local Society branches

  • Online sessions for members

  • A summer event for the town to acknowledge the close relationship we developed from the campaign

Suggestions for supporting the campus will be discussed at our next meeting
